“Life is always a journey. Just because today you are not where you want to be doesn't mean you won't get there.”
Jolene Clayton
We have always been told that life is a journey and we are along for the ride. There is some truth to this but I think it goes deeper than the this.
Living in a crazy world that we do, everyone has something that makes life difficult or even at times unbearable. It is often how we take those moments that gets us farther in the journey or holds us back. Where do you stand in the journey? Are you letting this bump become a mountain or are you going to ride right over it? These are questions that life asks you when something new comes up.
Just because you are not where you wanted to be doesn't mean it will not come it just means there are more questions to be answered that will help prepare yourself for the place you want to be. Sometimes we are not ready for it and there is still more to get ready for. When you are going on a holiday you don't just go, you have to not only book the flights and hotel but pack the appropriate clothes.
Life and its bumps are doing the same thing for you. Preparing you for that destination you have been dreaming and asking for. There are so many ways to help you when these bumps come up.
1. Reading - there are so many authors out there that have been through the journey and just by reading how they pushed through can give you insights on how you can do so as well.
2. Taking some time to relax - when you are pushing yourself so hard to get where you want to get you start pushing back on yourself. Taking some time to relax and reflect will help you open yourself to new ideas that you didn't think of before. These can take in the form of meditation, taking a long walk in the forest, or just taking a relaxing bath.
3. Aromatherapy- sometimes just breathing in a relaxing scent or combination brings you back to yourself and prepares you for what is needed. Below is nice diffuser blend
I could list many more but I think you have the idea. Life can be hard, but that is what makes it interesting and full. Are you going to make it harder but pushing back, or go with the flow and walk over it?
Love and Hugs
